1. Tacit Agreement
In accordance with the law, these regulations are displayed in each apartment and online on our website www.riverside-toulouse.com. These rules apply to all reservations on all reservation platforms and through all Travel Agencies. Any reservation made and any stay started entails the acceptance of all the provisions of the rules. Any guest taking possession of a flat is considered to have read and accepted the obligations.
2. Local government policies
Riverside Toulouse complies with all local Government Policies relative to property rental. Guests are requested to observe, abide by confirming to and be bound by all applicable acts and laws and Local Government rules and regulations in force.
Check in time is AFTER 03:30 PM local time and before the published time which depends on the flat.
Check out time is BEFORE 11:00 AM local time on the day of departure.
At the check-out, the guest shall leave the room (and the parking if applicable) in its normal state. On failure of the guest to vacate the room on expiry or period the management shall have the right to remove the guest and his/her belongings from the flat occupied by the guest. At Guest's checkout the Staff cleaning the room will be checking possible property damage (loss) including the keys.
In case of damage or loss, the Guest will be obliged to compensate for the damage or loss.
The guests shall make sure that the key box is closed and the key combination is scuffled before they leave the property. The Guest is obliged to pay a fine for the room key / key chain loss or damage in the amount of 200 Euros.
5. Guests identity
By Law the visitor’s identity/documents are known by the Management at time of reservation and are for records only. Riverside is obligated to ensure the safety of Guest’s stay, including confidentiality of information about the Guest. Under no circumstances may a guest transfer their reservation to other person. The name on card used at reservation is considered responsible for the entire duration of the stay.
6. Not checked guests
Only Registered Guests are allowed to stay in the property and its areas.
Guests are permitted to invite visitors for limited hours only and BEFORE 10PM provided visitors are also registered.
7. Adults only
Children under 18 traveling alone are not authorized to make a reservation. Guests under 18 of age must be under the constant care and supervision of adults during the entire stay. The legal guardians of children are responsible for the behaviour of their children, including any damage and injury they have made. Children must not be permitted to run or play in hallways, stairways, elevators, parking areas or other areas that disturb neighbours.
If the Guest resigns from his/her stay, Riverside has no obligation to refund the amount for the stay.
9. Extended Stay
Extended stay is only possible if the flat is still vacant the day on which the rental period expires AND if payment is received before 09 AM on the same day on Riverside Toulouse Website www.riverside-toulouse.com
Guests are not allowed to hand the flat over to other persons.
10. Pricing policy
Riverside has the right to apply prices freely as well as the discount system to all services provided except those prices and rates of which are regulated by the State. Riverside can apply hourly pay for services.
11. NO Noise policy
Riverside has a STRICT no-noise policy. Quiet time is from 09 PM to 08 AM.
If this rule is not respected the guests will be both evicted and charged for their stay no question asked.
The Guest shall not cause and the management shall not allow causing excessive noise on the premises of Riverside, or odours coming out from any flat, disturbing, harming or annoying neighbours.
Guests and persons using the flat have an obligation to behave properly and not to disturb the neighbours.
Voice, Stereos, televisions, radios, and all source of sound should be at level as not to disturb neighbours.
The Guest may be brought to administrative responsibility for violating the requirements of legislative and other laws and regulations on citizens protection from the noise pollution or rules on keeping silence in populated areas and public places in accordance with the current legislation of France.
12. NO smoking policy
In accordance with the law of 15 November 2006, smoking is completely prohibited in the flats, on the balconies and in the building.
The Guest and his/her Visitors are liable to a fine for violating the smoking ban in the building and the Host reserves the right to address the competent authorities with the claim to bring these persons to administrative responsibility in accordance with the current legislation of France. It is forbidden to abandon any smoked cigarettes in any the building area: parking, flat, balconies. Violation of the smoking prohibition is equivalent to the Guest’s consent to cover the costs of deodorization of the flat in the amount of 200 euros without any further consideration and immediately.
13. Damages or Loss in flat
Guest bears full material and legal responsibility for any loss, damages or destruction of furnishings, flat and building interior and appliances resulting from his/her fault or from the fault of his/her visitors.
The Guest bear full substantial and legal responsibility for any damage or destruction or loss of equipment and devices attributable to him/her or people visiting him/her. The Guest bears full responsibility for the actions of children and persons for which he/she is a relative, guardian, caregiver or attendant. The Guest is obliged not to leave children unattended and not to let them stay on the territory of the Hotel without adults, to explain the Hotel Rules to them.
Flats are furnished and inventoried by our Housekeeping Staff with Towels, Linens, Porcelain, Glassware, Silverware, Pots & Pans and Serving ware for as many guests that are allowed in the unit. The guest is responsible for any damages and or missing items and will be charged at replacement prices.
Guests should inform the Staff immediately after they have noticed that damage has occurred and BEFORE it is seen by the cleaning Staff. The guests will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the property caused by themselves, their own guests - or any person for whom they are responsible. The Management reserves the right to charge the Guest’s credit card for any damage caused by him/her after his/her departure. In view of the above, the Guest hereby authorizes the representative to charge the relevant credit card with the amount due.
14. Luggage Storage
In case the guest has already booked the same flat for another later date and subject to availability of the storage space, the guest may store luggage in the luggage room, at the guest's sole risk as to loss or damage from any cause.
15. Guest's Belongings
Guests are particularly requested to lock the door of the flats when going out as well as all exits (balconies, windows). The Management will not in any way whatsoever be responsible for any loss / or damage to the Guest's belongings. Any item non-perishable item left by the guest in the flats may be returned on request at his/her expense provided the item has been found by the Staff and only if the request is received within 24 hours after checkout.
16. Room and Laundry Service
Limited Housekeeping Services are provided. one towel per maximum allowable guest and one full bed/sofa set per maximum bed/sofa usage are provided as part of the reservation. Services during the stay such as change of towels, change of linens, making beds, ironing, cleaning during the stay will be charged (additional cost depending on the service and to be paid in credit card or cash at time of request, before the service is rendered).
17. Keys to the flats
The keys provided to the guests cannot be duplicated by anyone without a security card which is kept by the Management. Guests are not authorized to hand keys to unregistered persons. We request that the keys are placed in the safe, the safe being locked by the guest and the combination shuffled by the guest after guest departure. Any key loss or damage will be charged 200 euros to the guest for renewal.
18. Use of balconies
Hanging or storage of clothing, towels, or other items on balcony or porch railings is prohibited. No barbecuing on balconies. No sitting, climbing or standing on railing. Smoking on balcony and throwing cigarette ashes or butts over the balcony or windows is strictly forbidden.
19. Pets and Animals
Pets and animals of any kind are NOT allowed in any of our properties unless specified differently by the Management. Cleaning fee will be accessed and guest must remove pet from property immediately upon request.
20. Hazardous Goods
Bringing goods and/or storing of article of a combustible or hazardous nature and/or prohibited goods and/or goods of objectionable nature is strictly prohibited. The Guest shall be solely liable and responsible to the management for all loss financial or otherwise and damage that may be caused by such articles or as a result of the guests' own negligence and non-observance of any / instructions. Objects of an unusually large size (such as bikes, additional furniture, machines) or in unusually large quantities are prohibited in the flats. Weapons (even those of Guests who have the right to carry and keep weapon), ammunition, explosives, dangerous goods, flammable objects, illuminative materials, fireworks, poisons, stimulant drugs of which possession is prohibited by law are strictly prohibited on Riverside premises.
21. Forbidden Activities
The following activities are NOT authorized: Smoking, Party, Gambling, Contraband, Prostitution, Sub-letting, and any Commercial Activity, Crime of any kind.
The use the furnishings at any place other than at a given place and for any purpose other than their intended purposes is forbidden. In particular it is strictly forbidden to move beds, mattresses, sofas, tables from their original locations.
23. Use of Common Areas
The guest shall NOT receive ANY visitors in ANY common use areas of the building. No drinking of alcoholic beverages is allowed in Property Common Areas. No throwing or tossing of objects in the property areas including parking area. Guest are expected to keep the balconies clean and uncluttered.
Please do not leave trash in flat, hallways, doorways, or other common areas. When cooking or having food waste please bag and tie trash bags before disposing. Guests must keep hallway area free of debris or trash. Guest must not leave trash in the bin of the flat. It is forbidden to leave food or perishable items in the flats, in the refrigerators or in the freezers. Trash containers are located near the entrance of property.
Parking is only allowed when it comes with the reservation, and only on the designated area (in between the white lined on ground on the correct place number). Riverside does not own car parks and those are not guarded. Riverside will not be responsible for any loss. Any vehicle belonging to the guests or to his own guest and not complying with this rule will be moved out of the parking area. Maximum of one vehicle per flat is permitted WHEN parking is included in the reservation. Car owners and drivers are responsible for the cost of repairs or replacement of any damaged to property caused either by themselves, or other guests. Please advise Visitors that they are not permitted to park in Guest’s designated parking spots. No Motor Cycles or bikes or any vehicle may be kept on the parking. No honking of horns any time.
26. Guest Misbehaviour or misconduct
The guest will conduct him/herself in a respectable manner and will not cause any nuisance or annoyance within the premise.
Any guest misbehaviour with either the neighbours of the property OR the Riverside Staff is forbidden. This includes any act of physical or verbal violence, threat, extortion or coercive unjustified demand or a demand to assume an unreasonable burden. This also includes moving in and out the flats without clothing or shoes or wearing masks/themed costumes. Guests are not authorised to damage the property of Riverside.
Guests are not authorized to independently fix the problems that occurred while using the electricity, electrical equipment, water supply, canalization, bathroom fixtures and other property of Riverside.
27. Complaints from guest
Riverside thrive to provide services according to its standards. In case the guest has any complaint regarding the quality of the services, he/she is requested to report them at the earliest moment in written to: firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone to allow the Staff to respond promptly. Guest complaints and suggestions regarding the improvement of the accommodation and hospitality services are welcome and we will systematically implement measures to remedy any deficiencies.
28. Management's rights and access to flats
Any occupied unit may be entered by the maintenance staff or Management in the event of technical malfunction in the room or violation of any of the above rules and regulations.
In such circumstances the Management has the right to request any guest to vacate the flat and building forthwith, without previous notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, and the guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so. In case of the default, the management has right to remove the guest and his/her belongings from the flat occupied by the guest.
Riverside does not bear responsibility for inconveniences caused by: unforeseen constructions, works, strikes, roads closure, or extraordinary event of any kind in the surrounding or district of any of the Riverside flats.
THE MANAGEMENT RESERVES TO ITSELF THE RIGHT TO ADD TO, OR ALTER OR AMEND ANY OF THE ABOVE TERMS, CONDITIONS AND RULES WHICH ARE A PART OF THE LODGING ACT
